Season 5

1. Episode 1: Mac's Back Close   

   Depressed over the suicide of his galpal, Magnum imagines that he sees old pal Jerry McReynolds on the streets of Honolulu - but Jerry died two years ago. Is it a hallucination or has Magnum's old friend returned from the grave?

2. Episode 2: Underworld Close   

   After T.C. has a helicopter crash that leaves him comatose, Magnum discovers that it was shot down and sets out to find why someone would target his friend.

3. Episode 3: Blind Justice Close   

   Magnum wrestles with his conscience when he discovers evidence proving both that a man on trial for murdering his wife is innocent, but that he's also gotten away with a different murder. Meanwhile, Higgins, tired of Magnum's slackness around the Estate, takes use of the Ferrari away from him.

4. Episode 4: Murder 101 Close   

   At the urging of the students in the private investigation class that Magnum is teaching at a local college, he takes on the investigation into the disappearance of a student's fiancé as the class' field work.

5. Episode 5: Tran Quoc Jones Close   

   Magnum protects a political candidate and agrees to help a Vietnamese-American boy find his father, but soon learns the two are tied together.

6. Episode 6: Luther Gilles: File 101 Close   

   Robin and Higgins simultaneously ask Magnum to do some investigative work, so he calls on Luther Gillis to nail the man who's blackmailing Higgins, while he goes undercover to investigate embezzlement in a bank owned by Robin's friend.

7. Episode 7: Kiss of the Sabre Close   

   A writer friend of Robin's stays at the estate and soon involves herself in Magnum's insurance investigation of a hit-and-run, leading to her incorporation of Magnum and the case into her story.

8. Episode 8: Little Games Close   

   Hoping to make up for crashing the Estate's security system, Magnum has Mac fix it and challenges an insurance security specialist to certify it's acceptable for the Estate to host a jewelry competititon.

9. Episode 9: Professor Jonathan Higgins Close   

   After Agatha and her friends are swindled out of $100,000 by a shady investment company, she hires Magnum to track down the crooks and retrieve their money. Higgins' distant cousin arrives to marry the heir of a local socialite and turns out to be a punk rocker in need of a drastic makeover before she can be accepted into society.
